Mr. E.R, Jackson [right] shed master at Highbridge Motive Power Department, points out to Driver J.H. Foster features of the original crest of the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway which celebrated its centenary on August the 28th 1954.
As reported in the
‘Somerset Evening World’, a Bristol paper of that era.
